For the steam delivered from the nearby thermal power plant by our customers, we often see the spring type safety valve on our steam cylinder in each workshop. What kind of safety valve does it belong to, and two safety valves are equipped on it. Why do we need two? Is there any specification? If so, do two safety valves need the same set pressure?
The answers to the above questions are as follows:
1: In general, our medium is to transport steam, and installed on the steam cylinder is a double spring safety valve. Because if we configure two safety valves, it can be one for opening and one for standby, and it can be maintained online. There is a stop valve at the inlet for switching.
2: The setting pressure of safety valve B is 1.05 times of that of safety valve A. This is because the displacement of one safety valve is not enough, or the installation space is not allowed to install large safety valve. Use two or more safety valves to meet the requirements of large displacement
3: Their setting pressure is different. How to set it requires the manufacturer to give corresponding working condition data and communicate with our manufacturer.
