The causes and effects of spring safety valve failure are analyzed and the corresponding improvement measures are put forward.

The failure of spring safety valve is analyzed, which provides a new idea for quantitative evaluation of safety valve and has a more prominent practical guiding role. By using the improved FMECA method, the importance ranking of failure types of safety valve components and the fault tree of failure modes of safety valve are given. The fault tree of spring full open safety valve is transformed into corresponding stochastic Petri net, and quantitative reliability analysis is carried out by combining relevant failure data.
